By the beginning of 2012 the building structure and foundation design was complete and therefore work started on these activities. The final design of the 7.5 MW foundation was completed shortly thereafter, followed by the 15 MW foundation design and the redesign and value engineering efforts for the overall building. The 7.5 MW foundation was completed in the fall of 2012 within the older part of the building. The foundations for the new section of the building were completed toward the end of 2012 along with the pile driving for the 15 MW foundation and the digging out of the foundation pit. Upon completion of the 15 MW
foundation pit, erection of the new building steel was initiated and was then completed by late 2012. Work on framing and details for the facilities in the older building sections proceeded in parallel with construction of the newer sections of the facility. Reconstruction of the older sections of the building exterior should be completed during the first quarter of 2013. During the early parts of 2013 work on all building subsystems will be in progress. Operation of the 7.5 MW system is planned for mid-year 2013 while the 15 MW system is scheduled for winter 2013-2014 completion.
